Living Life is the title we give to a series of events we are running that will introduce people to our church.
This follows on from events we ran leading up to Easter 2010 under the title "A Passion for Life", which was a nationwide initiative that drew together local churches to proclaim Christ's passion for the life of the world.
We are planning many different types of event, so we hope there will be something that interests you!
This page is the first port of call to see what's on and we'll be updating it regularly as new events are arranged. For more details of any specific event, or for general information about Living Life, please contact us.
Unanswerable Questions
Over the last 10 years, internet search engine Jeeves has been asked over 1.1 billion questions. From that huge selection they have noted 10 queries that keep on recurring, but to which there don’t seem to be any answers.
Here at Emmanuel Chippenham we’re sure the Bible does have answers for many of these "unanswerable questions", so last year we thought it would be useful to try to tackle them over the course of a year, on the first Sunday of each month. They can be listened to or downloaded from the Sermon section of the site.
Our Pastor, Spencer Shaw, was interviewed on BBC Radio Wiltshire about this new series, and you can listen to the interview here:
This is a series of talks on a range of subjects, normally held at Dutch Cottage Tea Rooms. Tea and coffee will be provided from 7.30pm with the talk starting at around 8.00pm, and finishing at about 9pm.
Talks in the past have included the History of Chippenham, Digital Photography, Cooking on a Budget and a talk by Olympic Skeleton Bobsleigh racer, Adam Pengilly.
We are awaiting confirmation of dates - watch this space!
