In this session we will consider the significance of praying with others.

Praying with Others

Groups of believers praying together are found throughout scripture. In the New testament however, the Lord Jesus has specific things to say about this.

• Please read Matthew 6:11-13

  1. Who is the prayer on behalf of?

  2. What will be the result if the prayer is answered as prayed?

• Please read Matthew 18:19-20

  1. What is the context of the passage?

  2. At its simplest level, what does it mean?

• How is the early church an example? (e.g. Acts 4:24)
