How To Find Us

By rail

Chippenham railway station is on the main line between London Paddington and Bristol. There is as least one train each hour on Sundays in either direction. Plan your rail journey at National Rail. Hardenhuish School is a 5-10 minute taxi ride from the station (cost approximately £5).

By road

From the motorway (North)

Leave the M4 at Junction 17, and follow the signs for Chippenham A350. After approximately 2 miles at the roundabout go straight on. After a further 300 yards, turn right at the traffic lights into Hardenhuish Lane. Turn left into Hardenhuish School half-way down a steep hill. Follow signs to the car park.

From A4 East (Calne) or West (Bath)

Follow the A4 until it reaches the roundabout crossing the A350. Turn North signposted towards the M4. At the second roundabout (junction with the A420) turn right towards Chippenham. After 300 yards turn left at a double-mini-roundabout. Turn right into Hardenhuish School half-way up the steep hill. Follow signs to the car park.

From the A350 (South)

Follow the A350 until it reaches its junction with the A420 at a roundabout. Then follow directions as above.

Use the upper entrance to Hardenhuish School to access the car park since the lower gate is locked. The entrance is also used as the exit so please take car driving in or out of the schol entrance on Sundays.
