Jesus Heals A Woman And A Girl
Jesus cleanses an older woman and raises a young girl from death. Reach out to Jesus in faith, as the woman did. Jesus will make you clean; you won’t make Jesus unclean. Follow the example of Jairus: run to Jesus, cast yourself upon him. If our faith is in Jesus, then we are the children of God, and one day we will resurrect from death; sin, suffering, and sickness will be no more.

Jesus Forgives A Sinful Woman
A notoriously sinful woman goes to a Pharisee’s home, where Jesus is eating with religious men. There, broken and sobbing, she lavishly worships Jesus. Yet “holy” Simon did none of what she did (worship, serve, repent of sin, or give generously).

Jesus Casts Out Demons
Satan and demons are at war against God, angels, and Christians. Jesus comes to liberate the captives taken in this cosmic battle. When he meets a man possessed by a multitude of demons, he exercises his authority and casts them out of the man and into a herd of pigs (unclean animals), condemning that region’s pagan way of life.

Jesus Calms The Storm
Jesus—fully man and fully God—ministered to massive crowds near the Sea of Galilee. As a man, he was exhausted when he and his disciples set out to cross the sea. He slept through a dangerous storm that made the others desperate for help. As God, he rebuked the wind and waves, and they obeyed. Jesus is the Creator who made the world and the Savior who came into the world to rescue sinners.
